Creation of Mankind

One god Khnum was seen as responsible for producing humanity. Khnum was a ram-headed god who was a craftsman and fertility god and he had the advantage of having an animals energy. He created humans out of clay on his potter's wheel and was primarily worshipped in Esna and Elaphantine. Some beleived his consort to be Heket who would breathe life into his creations prior to their birth.
